Jagan "Chinna" is the seemingly carefree and jobless son of Lion Rajendra, a respected and ethical industrialist. Sunanda is the beautiful and spirited daughter of Raghunath, a businessman who is Rajendra's primary competitor. Jagan and Sunanda meet and fall in love, unaware of their families' longstanding feud. Jagan, despite his lack of a job, is kind and resourceful, while Sunanda is strong-willed and values her independence. Jagan believes that his father and Raghunath should end their rivalry and work together for mutual benefit.
