Plot:

The intricate plot of Aksar 2 unfolds against the picturesque yet treacherous backdrop of Mauritius, introducing Sheena Roy (Zareen Khan), a seemingly innocent young woman seeking employment. She is hired as a governess for the aging and immensely rich Mrs. Khambatta (Lillete Dubey), who lives in a grand, secluded mansion. Mrs. Khambatta is frail but possesses a sharp mind, and her daily life is managed by her stern and loyal driver, Bachchan (S. Sreesanth), who seems to hold an unusual amount of influence over her affairs. Sheena's initial responsibilities are to provide companionship and manage the old woman's household, but she soon discovers that the tranquil facade of the mansion hides a deep undercurrent of greed and manipulation.

Upon her arrival, Sheena is introduced to Patrick Sharma (Gautam Rode), Mrs. Khambatta's smooth-talking and dangerously charming financial advisor. Patrick, who manages Mrs. Khambatta's vast fortune, quickly takes an interest in Sheena, drawing her into his magnetic orbit. He subtly hints at the immense wealth at stake and the potential for a luxurious life, preying on Sheena's aspirations for a better future. Their interactions soon escalate into a passionate, clandestine affair, fueled by mutual attraction and a shared desire for the fortune. Patrick, revealing his true colors, proposes a scheme to Sheena: to manipulate Mrs. Khambatta's will and gain control of her assets, including a legendary collection of diamonds that the old woman is known to possess.

The stage is set for a complex conspiracy. Mrs. Khambatta, aware of her deteriorating health, is actively revising her will with her seemingly trustworthy lawyer, Ricky (Abhinav Shukla). Patrick and Sheena learn through their illicit means that Mrs. Khambatta intends to bequeath her entire estate, including the priceless diamonds, to a charitable trust, much to Patrick's fury. This revelation intensifies their resolve to execute their plan. They discover that the diamonds are hidden within a secret compartment in the mansion. Patrick begins to subtly accelerate Mrs. Khambatta's demise, possibly through psychological stress or by tampering with her medication, making her death appear as natural causes. Mrs. Khambatta eventually passes away under mysterious circumstances, leaving everyone to believe it was due to her age and frailty.

Following Mrs. Khambatta's death, Ricky convenes all involved parties for the reading of the will. To Patrick and Sheena's utter shock and dismay, the will reveals a monumental twist: Mrs. Khambatta's entire estate, including the coveted diamonds, is bequeathed not to a charity, nor to Patrick, but to Bachchan, her driver. It is then revealed that Bachchan is not merely a driver, but Mrs. Khambatta's long-lost nephew and the rightful heir, who had been secretly brought into the household and positioned by Mrs. Khambatta herself. This revelation completely upends Patrick and Sheena's elaborate scheme, turning them from conspirators into mere pawns. Bachchan, now the master of the house, sheds his humble demeanor, revealing himself as a cold, calculating individual who is well aware of Patrick and Sheena's past intentions and their affair.

A dangerous game of cat and mouse ensues. Patrick and Sheena, now trapped and desperate, continue their search for the diamonds, believing they are their only way out of their predicament. Bachchan, however, is always one step ahead, monitoring their every move. The tension escalates as they realize Ricky, the lawyer, also seems to be playing his own game, subtly manipulating events and holding crucial information. Ricky, it is implied, was aware of Mrs. Khambatta's true intentions and the existence of the diamonds, and was perhaps even complicit in the plan to expose Patrick and Sheena's greed. The mansion becomes a battleground of wits and betrayal, with each character trying to outmaneuver the others, driven by a potent mix of fear, ambition, and lust for wealth.

As the search for the diamonds intensifies, the stakes rise dramatically. Patrick attempts to double-cross Sheena, seeing her as a liability, while Sheena, equally ruthless, plans to outwit Patrick and potentially Bachchan. The film delves into a series of escalating confrontations, threats, and near-death experiences, showcasing the characters' true, darker natures. The diamonds become a MacGuffin, a symbol of their undoing, leading them deeper into a quagmire of deceit. The ultimate revelation, however, is the most shocking: Mrs. Khambatta herself was a master manipulator. She had orchestrated her own "death" and the subsequent events, knowing full well about Patrick and Sheena's intentions. Her elaborate plan was designed to expose their greed and ensure her fortune went to her rightful heir, Bachchan, while simultaneously punishing those who sought to exploit her.

The climax unfolds in a dramatic confrontation where all the key players—Sheena, Patrick, Ricky, and Bachchan—converge, each with their own agenda, at the supposed location of the hidden diamonds. The struggle turns violent, resulting in several characters meeting a brutal end. In a final, shocking twist, it is revealed that Sheena, the seemingly innocent governess, was the true mastermind behind the entire elaborate plot from the very beginning. She had meticulously planned everything, using Patrick as her pawn, manipulating Bachchan, and even outsmarting Mrs. Khambatta's initial scheme. Sheena emerges as the ultimate victor, having skillfully played everyone against each other to acquire the vast fortune for herself. The film concludes with Sheena walking away, having achieved her goal through cold-blooded calculation and ruthless betrayal, leaving a trail of destruction and dead bodies in her wake, and leaving the audience to ponder the depths of human depravity.
