Plot:

The story unfolds in 1870s Russia, where Anna Karenina, a sophisticated and beautiful socialite, lives a seemingly perfect life as the wife of Alexei Karenin, a senior government official, and mother to their son. Her life takes a dramatic turn when she travels to Moscow to help reconcile her brother, Stiva, and his wife, Dolly. There, she encounters the charismatic and handsome cavalry officer Count Alexei Vronsky, and an immediate, undeniable attraction sparks between them.

Despite her attempts to resist, Anna and Vronsky begin a passionate affair upon her return to St. Petersburg, which quickly becomes the subject of whispers and scandal in high society. Anna's husband, Karenin, initially tries to preserve appearances, but as the affair becomes more blatant, he is forced to confront her. Anna eventually confesses her love for Vronsky and leaves her husband and son, facing social condemnation and isolation.
