Plot:

In late 1941, two Czech soldiers, Jozef Gabčík and Jan Kubiš, are parachuted into their occupied homeland, Czechoslovakia, with the perilous task of assassinating Reinhard Heydrich, the architect of the Final Solution and the ruthless head of the Nazi occupation forces. After a rough landing and initial disorientation, they make contact with local resistance members, including Marie Kovárníková and Lenka Fafková, who provide them with shelter and support, risking their own lives.

As the paratroopers integrate into the underground network, they face growing pressure and the immense difficulty of planning an attack on such a high-profile target in a city under strict Nazi control. They carefully plot the ambush, navigating betrayals and close calls, eventually executing the daring assassination attempt on Heydrich's car in a Prague suburb. The attack, while successful in critically wounding Heydrich, ignites a brutal and widespread Nazi manhunt across the country.
