Plot:

The story of Bheja Fry 2 picks up with Bharat Bhushan, the good-hearted but perpetually accident-prone income tax inspector, whose life is a series of comical mishaps. Still living his simple, somewhat chaotic life, Bharat finds himself participating in a popular television quiz show called "Super Quiz." Through a series of improbable and often accidental correct answers, coupled with his genuine if sometimes misguided enthusiasm, Bharat manages to win the grand prize: a luxurious, all-expenses-paid cruise. Overjoyed by his unexpected victory, Bharat envisions a serene and relaxing vacation, a much-needed respite from his mundane routine and the constant barrage of small-scale disasters that usually follow him.

As Bharat boards the opulent cruise ship, his inherent ability to attract trouble immediately kicks in. He soon encounters a motley crew of fellow passengers, each with their own quirks and hidden agendas. Among them is Ajit Talwar (Kay Kay Menon), a suave but ruthless criminal mastermind. Ajit is a notorious gangster who has recently committed a major diamond heist and is using the cruise as a sophisticated cover to escape India and smuggle his ill-gotten gains out of the country. He travels with his associate, Tarun (Anuj Chaudhary), who aids him in his nefarious plans. Ajit's carefully laid plans, however, are destined to be repeatedly and hilariously derailed by the unsuspecting Bharat Bhushan.

Bharat’s first unwitting interference occurs almost immediately. Ranjini is on a mission to expose Ajit Talwar and his criminal activities, having been tipped off about his presence and intentions. She initially views Bharat as just another annoying passenger, perhaps even an accomplice to Ajit due to his constant proximity to the gangster. He tries various methods to get rid of Bharat, from subtle threats to outright attempts to have him thrown overboard, but each attempt backfires spectacularly, often leading to more trouble for Ajit himself.

Ranjini, witnessing Bharat's accidental heroism, starts to develop a grudging respect and even affection for him. She realizes that despite his naivety, Bharat possesses an inherent goodness and a strange ability to stumble into the right place at the right time.
