Plot:

The story begins with the wrath of the sea goddess Thetis, whose son Calibos, once a handsome prince, was cursed by Zeus into a monstrous form for his cruelty. In revenge, Thetis demands the sacrifice of Princess Andromeda of Joppa to the monstrous Kraken, or the city will be destroyed. Meanwhile, Perseus, a demigod son of Zeus, is cast adrift at sea with his mother Danaë, only to wash ashore on a distant island. Guided by the gods, Perseus eventually finds his way to Joppa, where he falls in love with Andromeda and vows to save her.

To defeat the Kraken, Perseus embarks on a perilous quest. He receives divine gifts from the Olympian gods, including a sword, shield, and winged helmet, and is aided by the mechanical owl Bubo. His journey leads him to face the three Stygian Witches for information, battle the giant scorpions of Calibos, and ultimately confront the terrifying Gorgon Medusa in her lair to acquire her petrifying head. With Medusa's head in hand, Perseus returns to Joppa just in time to face the Kraken and rescue Andromeda from her impending sacrifice.
