CLOWN (2014)

Summary:

A loving father discovers an old clown suit to save his son's birthday party, only to find that the costume is cursed and slowly transforming him into a demonic, child-eating entity known as a "Clöyne."

As the transformation progresses and his body and mind succumb to the ancient evil, his terrified wife races against time to uncover the truth and find a way to stop him before he completely loses his humanity and becomes a monstrous killer.

Plot:

Kent McCoy, a dedicated father, finds an old clown suit in a chest when the hired clown cancels on his son Jack's birthday party. He puts on the suit, wig, and red nose to entertain the children, much to their delight. However, after the party, Kent discovers he cannot remove the costume; the nose is seemingly glued on, the wig is tangled and fused to his scalp, and the suit itself appears to be merging with his skin, causing him immense pain when he tries to cut it off.

As days pass, Kent's personality and appearance begin to drastically change. He develops a craving for raw meat, his voice deepens, and his teeth become razor-sharp. His wife, Meg, investigates the suit's mysterious origins and seeks help from Karlsson, an expert on demonic folklore. Karlsson reveals that the suit is the skin of a "Clöyne," an ancient Nordic demon that lures and devours five children before going into hibernation. The only way to stop the full transformation and kill the demon is to decapitate the wearer, a horrifying truth that forces Meg into a desperate and violent struggle to save her husband from the monstrous entity taking over his body and soul.
