Plot:

As they enjoy their evening, a mysterious, scarred man named Stuntman Mike, driving a matte-black 1971 Chevrolet Nova SS, begins to observe them from a distance. Mike is a former Hollywood stuntman with a sinister agenda, using his "death-proof" car, specially reinforced for his own survival in crashes, as his weapon. He fixates on the group, particularly on Pam, a shy young woman who joins them later, waiting for a ride from her friend.

Mike approaches Pam at the bar, offering her a ride, which she reluctantly accepts after her friend is delayed. During the drive, Mike’s charming demeanor quickly turns menacing.
