Plot:

The film opens in a dilapidated, abandoned Detroit neighborhood, introducing Rocky, a young woman desperate to escape her abusive mother and provide a better life for her younger sister, Diddy. She, along with her boyfriend Money, and their friend Alex, regularly burglarize homes, using Alex's father's security company keys to disable alarm systems. Their latest target is a seemingly easy mark: the isolated home of Norman Nordstrom, a blind Gulf War veteran who reportedly received a substantial settlement after his daughter was killed in a car accident. Money, confident in the ease of the job, believes the man is harmless and an ideal victim to provide the funds Rocky needs to flee to California.

The trio breaks into the house under the cover of night. Alex, cautious and responsible, disables the alarm, while Money, more aggressive, quickly locates a locked safe. Their initial attempts to open it are thwarted by the Blind Man's dog, a Rottweiler, which they manage to lock in the basement. As they try to crack the safe, the Blind Man awakens. Money, underestimating him, attempts to intimidate him with a gun. However, the Blind Man quickly disarms Money, shoots him in the head, and kills him instantly. This brutal act shatters the intruders' perception of their victim, turning their heist into a terrifying fight for survival.

Rocky and Alex are plunged into a nightmare. The Blind Man, despite his lack of sight, uses his other heightened senses—hearing and smell—to navigate his home with chilling precision. He locks all the doors and windows, effectively trapping them inside. Alex, utilizing his knowledge of the house's layout from their earlier reconnaissance, guides Rocky through air vents and hidden passages, attempting to find an escape route. As Rocky attempts to free Cindy, the Blind Man reappears, shoots Cindy, and she falls into a pit, drowning in the floodwater. Rocky and Alex continue their frantic escape attempts. Alex, trying to open a sliding glass door, is accidentally shot by the Blind Man, who mistakes him for Rocky. Believing Alex is dead, Rocky is left alone to face the relentless predator. She manages to escape the house through a skylight, but the Blind Man's dog, now freed from the basement, pursues her. She is eventually recaptured by the Blind Man, who drags her back into the house. He ties her up in his basement, revealing his ultimate plan: to artificially inseminate her with his own semen, forcing her to bear him a child to replace his lost daughter, just as he had intended with Cindy.

In a truly disturbing scene, the Blind Man prepares to carry out his plan using a turkey baster. However, Rocky, with incredible resourcefulness, manages to break free and turn the tables. She attacks the Blind Man, blinding him with a hammer blow to his remaining good eye, completely incapacitating him. She then flees the house once more, pursued by the now truly blind and enraged man. In a final confrontation on the porch, she manages to incapacitate him further, hitting him with a shovel and leaving him for dead. She takes the bag of money, which she had recovered earlier, and escapes just as the police sirens approach, drawn by the commotion.

Rocky successfully escapes the scene and makes it to the train station with Diddy, ready to start their new life in California. As she watches a news report about the incident, she learns that the police found the Blind Man alive, albeit severely injured. The report states that he was the victim of a home invasion, and the police found no evidence of any other individuals or the chained woman in his basement. The Blind Man, a master manipulator, has cleverly covered his tracks, portraying himself as a sympathetic victim. Rocky realizes the danger is not over, as the Blind Man is still alive and knows who she is. The film ends with Rocky and Diddy on the train, leaving her fate and the Blind Man's potential future actions ambiguous, suggesting that the nightmare might not be truly over.
