Plot:

The story of Double Dhamaal picks up with the four inseparable friends, Adi (Arshad Warsi), Manav (Javed Jaffrey), Roy (Riteish Deshmukh), and Boman (Aashish Chaudhary), continuing their hapless existence. Despite their previous adventure involving a hidden treasure, they are back to square one: broke, jobless, and living in squalor. Their only possession of value is a dilapidated car, which serves as both their home and their last shred of dignity. Their days are spent attempting petty scams and dreaming of a shortcut to riches, all of which invariably fail, leaving them more desperate than before. They frequently bicker amongst themselves, each blaming the other for their collective misfortune, yet their bond, however dysfunctional, remains unbreakable.

One fateful day, while attempting another ill-conceived scheme, they spot a familiar face: Kabir Nayak (Sanjay Dutt). To their utter disbelief, the man they last saw being arrested and sent to jail is now driving a luxurious sports car, accompanied by bodyguards, and radiating an aura of immense wealth and success. Kabir, now a seemingly reformed and legitimate businessman, spots them and, with a mischievous glint in his eye, invites them to his lavish office. There, he spins a captivating tale of how he turned his life around, built a massive empire called "Kabir Industries," and now deals only in legitimate, high-profit ventures. He offers them an irresistible proposition: invest their meager savings with him, and he guarantees to double their money in just 25 days. The friends, initially skeptical due to their past experiences with Kabir, are ultimately swayed by his convincing facade of success and their own insatiable greed for quick money. They pool every last rupee they have, selling their old car and borrowing from various sources, managing to gather a substantial sum, which they eagerly hand over to Kabir.

As expected, Kabir promptly vanishes with their money, leaving the four friends once again utterly penniless, furious, and humiliated. They realize they've been conned by their old nemesis for the second time. Vowing revenge and determined to reclaim their hard-earned (or rather, hard-scammed) cash, they embark on a relentless pursuit of Kabir. Their investigation leads them to the vibrant and glamorous city of Macau, where Kabir has set up his new, opulent base of operations. In Macau, they find Kabir living an even more extravagant life, complete with a palatial mansion, a private casino, and a beautiful, cunning girlfriend named Kamini (Kangna Ranaut), who is deeply involved in his schemes. They also encounter Mohini (Mallika Sherawat), another of Kabir's associates, adding to the web of deceit.

The friends, now in a foreign land and with limited resources, devise a series of elaborate and often comically disastrous plans to get close to Kabir and retrieve their money. They discover that Kabir is not merely a con artist working alone but is actually a front for a ruthless underworld don named J.D. (Johnny Lever), who is involved in a massive diamond smuggling operation. The money Kabir took from them was just a tiny fraction of a much larger illicit fortune. This revelation puts the friends in grave danger, as they are now entangled with a far more powerful and dangerous adversary than Kabir.

Adding to the chaos, a determined but somewhat bumbling police inspector, K.K. (Satish Kaushik), is also hot on J.D.'s trail, and the friends often find themselves caught between the warring factions. The climax of the film takes place during a major diamond heist orchestrated by J.D. and Kabir. All parties converge: the friends, Kabir, J.D. and his goons, and Inspector K.K. and his police force. What follows is a chaotic, multi-party showdown filled with explosions, car chases, gunfights, and a flurry of mistaken identities. The friends, through sheer luck, their characteristic incompetence, and a series of accidental maneuvers, manage to disrupt the entire operation. There are multiple double-crosses: Kabir attempts to betray J.D. and flee with the diamonds, while the friends try to outwit both of them.

In the ensuing pandemonium, Adi, Manav, Roy, and Boman, against all odds, manage to get their hands on the large sum of money and diamonds, leaving Kabir and J.D. to face the wrath of the law and each other. The film concludes with the four friends finally living a life of unimaginable luxury. They are shown enjoying their newfound wealth, driving expensive cars, and living in a grand mansion.
