Summary:

Dracula Untold reimagines the origin story of Vlad the Impaler, portraying him as a tragic hero who sacrifices his humanity to protect his family and kingdom from the encroaching Ottoman Empire. Faced with an impossible choice, Prince Vlad makes a dark pact to gain supernatural powers, becoming the legendary creature of the night known as Dracula.

Plot:

Prince Vlad III of Wallachia, a revered warrior who once fought for the Ottoman Empire, now rules his kingdom in peace. However, his tranquility is shattered when Sultan Mehmed II demands 1,000 boys, including Vlad's own son Ingeras, for his Janissary army. Desperate to protect his people and family, Vlad seeks out an ancient, powerful vampire dwelling in a cursed mountain cave.

Vlad makes a pact with the Master Vampire, gaining immense strength, speed, and the ability to transform into a swarm of bats. He is given three days to resist the insatiable thirst for human blood; if he succeeds, he will return to human form, but if he succumbs, he will become a full vampire forever. Using his new powers, Vlad single-handedly battles the vast Ottoman army, but as the conflict escalates and his loved ones are threatened, he faces the ultimate decision to fully embrace his monstrous nature to save what remains of his world.
