Summary:

In a post-apocalyptic future, the sprawling urban wasteland of Mega-City One is home to millions of citizens and a myriad of criminals. The only force for order is the Judges, who act as police, jury, and executioner. The film follows Judge Dredd, a legendary law enforcer, as he is tasked with evaluating psychic rookie Judge Cassandra Anderson.

Their routine assignment to a 200-story slum tower, controlled by the ruthless drug lord Ma-Ma, quickly escalates into a brutal fight for survival when Ma-Ma locks down the building, trapping them inside and ordering her gang to kill them. Dredd and Anderson must battle their way through hordes of criminals to reach Ma-Ma and bring her to justice.

The story unfolds in Mega-City One, a dystopian metropolis on the East Coast of North America. Judge Dredd, a stoic and uncompromising lawman, is assigned to assess Judge Anderson, a powerful psychic rookie who failed the academy entrance exam but is given a field test due to her unique abilities. They respond to a triple homicide at Peach Trees, a massive 200-story residential block run by the clan of Madeline Madrigal, known as Ma-Ma, who controls the production and distribution of the reality-altering drug "Slo-Mo."

After arresting one of Ma-Ma's lieutenants, Kay, Anderson psychically discovers Ma-Ma's involvement. In retaliation, Ma-Ma locks down Peach Trees using its blast shields and orders all residents and gang members to kill Dredd and Anderson. Trapped and outnumbered, the two Judges must fight their way through multiple floors, confronting corrupt Judges, heavily armed gangs, and relentless attacks, all while trying to reach Ma-Ma at the top of the tower to stop her reign of terror.
