Sanju, a carefree young man from Kakinada, finds his world centered around his doting parents and close-knit circle of friends. Initially reluctant to leave his hometown, he eventually decides to relocate to Hyderabad upon realizing his parents' aspirations for him to secure a promising IT job. Upon arrival, he is welcomed into the home of Viswanath, a friend of his mother Gayathri.
During his journey to Hyderabad, Sanju encounters Anupama, whom he playfully teases after overhearing her criticism of Kakinada boys. To his surprise, he later discovers that Anu is Viswanath's daughter, and he is tasked with accompanying her to college daily. Despite Anu's initial animosity towards him, their relationship gradually evolves into a deep friendship, fueled by Sanju's compassionate nature and familial values.
As Sanju navigates his new life in Hyderabad, he becomes romantically involved with Reethu, a colleague. However, his growing bond with Anu leads him to realize his true feelings for her, complicating matters when Reethu proposes to him. Just as Sanju musters the courage to confess his love to Anu, Viswanath announces Anu's engagement to another man, leaving Sanju heartbroken.
Amidst the ensuing chaos and emotional turmoil, Anu reciprocates Sanju's feelings, prompting Viswanath to reluctantly endorse their relationship. On the day of Anu's scheduled wedding, Sanju leaves Hyderabad, unwilling to jeopardize his friendship with Viswanath or impose his desires on Anu. However, his departure prompts Viswanath's realization of Sanju's sincerity and suitability for Anu.
Ultimately, Viswanath grants his blessings for Sanju and Anu to marry, acknowledging that Sanju's love and devotion can bring lifelong happiness to his daughter.
