FANTASTIC FOUR (2015)

Summary:

Four young scientists gain extraordinary abilities after a teleportation experiment goes awry, sending them to an alternate dimension. Upon their return, they must learn to harness their new powers and work together as a team to protect Earth from a former friend who has also been transformed and now poses a grave threat.

Plot:

Childhood friends Reed Richards and Ben Grimm develop a prototype teleporter in their garage. Years later, Reed's work catches the attention of Dr. Franklin Storm, who recruits him for a project at the Baxter Foundation. There, Reed meets Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Victor Von Doom, all working on an interdimensional portal.

Against orders, Reed, Johnny, and Victor, joined by Ben, use the portal to travel to "Planet Zero." An accident on the alien world causes them to gain superpowers: Reed's body becomes elastic, Ben transforms into a rock creature, Johnny can ignite himself, and Sue, who was caught in the energy back at the lab, gains invisibility and force field abilities. Victor is left behind and presumed dead. The team is then confined by the government to study and weaponize their powers. A year later, Victor reappears, fused with his suit and possessing telekinetic powers, seeking to destroy Earth using Planet Zero's energy, forcing the Fantastic Four to unite and stop him.
