Vivek Pandit, a skilled software engineer from India, lives in Silicon Valley on an H1-B visa, constantly battling the anxiety of its renewal. He's ambitious, hoping to establish a stable life in the U.S. When a promising job that could secure his future falls apart due to his precarious visa status, his world is thrown into turmoil. He's forced to confront the harsh realities of the American immigration system, a maze of bureaucratic hurdles and uncertainties.
The film follows Vivek's struggles as he navigates this complex system, showcasing the constant fear and frustration shared by many immigrants. His roommates and other Indian friends face similar challenges, each dealing with their own version of the immigrant experience.
