Plot:

During a routine spacewalk to service the Hubble Space Telescope, Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant but emotionally detached medical engineer, and veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski are suddenly hit by a high-speed shower of debris from a destroyed Russian satellite. Their shuttle is obliterated, and the two are sent hurtling into the vast, dark expanse of space. Kowalski, experienced and calm, attempts to tether Stone to him and guide her towards the International Space Station (ISS) before their oxygen runs out.

After a perilous journey, they reach the damaged ISS, only to find it uninhabitable and its escape pod unusable. With Kowalski sacrificing himself to save Stone, she is left alone to navigate to the Chinese Tiangong space station, her last hope for returning to Earth. Battling panic, dwindling resources, and recurring waves of debris, Stone must confront her personal demons and find the will to overcome the immense challenges of survival, ultimately embarking on a harrowing re-entry sequence that tests her to the very limits of human endurance.
