Plot:

The story of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai begins in the vibrant city of Mumbai, where Jass and Bani have been happily married for five years. To their friends and family, they are the perfect couple, balancing their modern lives with traditional values. However, beneath the happy surface, a fundamental difference of opinion begins to create a massive rift between them. Jass is incredibly family-oriented, working hard at his business with the dream of finally settling down to raise children and start a family. On the other hand, Bani is a highly ambitious corporate professional whose career is on a skyrocketing trajectory. When the conversation of starting a family comes up, their conflicting priorities collide. Bani wants to postpone having a baby to focus on an upcoming international promotion, while Jass feels that they have waited long enough. These escalating arguments, fueled by well-meaning but intrusive family members, eventually lead the couple to a mutual, albeit heartbreaking, decision to separate.

Devastated by the end of his marriage and desperate to escape the constant questioning of his local relatives, Jass decides to pack his bags and travel to London for a temporary business assignment, hoping the change of scenery will help him heal. In London, Jass is introduced to Preet, a lively, independent, and free-spirited fashion designer who is completely different from the structured and career-focused Bani. Preet’s infectious energy and zest for life bring a long-lost spark back into Jass's routine. What begins as a casual friendship quickly blossoms into an intense, passionate romance.
