Plot:

An ancient truce between humanity and the magical world is broken when the ruthless elven Prince Nuada declares war on mankind. Seeking to reclaim the Earth for magical creatures, Nuada embarks on a quest to awaken the indestructible Golden Army, a mechanical horde created by his father, by collecting the pieces of an ancient crown. Hellboy, still struggling with his public image and his tumultuous relationship with Liz Sherman, is called into action along with Liz and Abe Sapien by the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (B.P.R.D.). They are joined by the ethereal, gas-filled psychic Johann Krauss, an agent from the German office.

The team tracks Nuada, facing various mythical creatures and discovering the prince's plan to unleash the Golden Army, which could wipe out humanity. They learn of Princess Nuala, Nuada's twin sister, who holds a crucial piece of the crown and shares a psychic link with her brother. As the conflict escalates, Hellboy must confront his own identity and destiny, choosing between his loyalty to humanity and his connection to the mythical world, ultimately leading to a climactic confrontation to stop Nuada and prevent the activation of the devastating Golden Army.
