Summary:

Home tells the story of an alien race called the Boov, who are always on the run from their mortal enemy, the Gorg. When the Boov decide to take over Earth and "relocate" all of its human inhabitants, they are led by the clumsy and enthusiastic Oh, a Boov who is an outcast from his own kind. Oh accidentally broadcasts the Boov's location to the Gorg, making him a fugitive. He is forced to team up with Tip, a clever and resourceful human girl who was separated from her mother during the relocation. The two unlikely friends embark on a wild adventure to find Tip's mother, and in the process, they help each other discover the true meaning of friendship and home.

Detailed Plot (Movie Story):

The film introduces the Boov, a timid and nomadic alien race who are masters of evasion. They are led by their cowardly leader, Captain Smek (voiced by Steve Martin), who is always on the run from the Gorg. To escape the Gorg, the Boov decide to invade Earth and relocate all its human inhabitants to a secluded settlement in Australia.

The story's central character is Oh (voiced by Jim Parsons), an optimistic and friendly Boov who, despite his best efforts, is a social outcast. He is constantly making mistakes and is seen as an annoyance by his fellow Boov. In a moment of excitement, he accidentally sends out an invitation for a party to the entire galaxy, which includes their enemies, the Gorg. This makes him a fugitive in the eyes of his own kind.

As Oh is trying to escape his fellow Boov, he runs into Tip Tucci (voiced by Rihanna), a clever and resourceful human girl who, along with her cat, Pig, managed to evade the Boov's relocation. Tip is desperately searching for her mother, Lucy (voiced by Jennifer Lopez), who was taken to the relocation camp.

Oh and Tip, two complete opposites, are forced to team up. Tip, initially, has no trust for Oh, as she sees him as a symbol of the aliens who have taken over her planet. However, Oh, with his sincerity and his determination to help her, slowly wins her over. The two embark on a wild road trip across the globe in a flying car powered by a Boov anti-gravity device.

Their journey is a series of hilarious and action-packed misadventures. They are pursued by the other Boov, who are trying to arrest Oh. They are also on a race against time to find Tip's mother before the Gorg arrive.

In the climax of the film, Oh and Tip, who are now the best of friends, arrive at the relocation camp in Australia. They find Tip's mother and reunite with her. However, their reunion is short-lived as the Gorg arrive. The film's final act reveals a surprising twist: the Gorg are not evil. They are a race that has been collecting the Boov's "super-battery," which is the source of their technology. It is revealed that Captain Smek had stolen the Gorg's most prized possession, a special gem, and that the Gorg were simply trying to get it back.

The film concludes with Oh, who is now a hero, returning the gem to the Gorg. The Gorg, now with their treasure, leave Earth, and the Boov, who have learned to live peacefully with the humans, settle down and become allies. The film ends on a heartwarming note, with Oh, Tip, and their families finally finding their true home on Earth.
