Impressed by Anand, Satyam asks him to take over the garage, and he agrees, becoming part of the house and reviving Janata Garage.
Chandrashekhar, now the police commissioner, tries to remove Anand from Janata Garage but fails. He seeks out Anand's family, and brings Suresh and his family to Satyam's house, revealing Satyam and Anand's affair. Fearing for Bujji's safety, Suresh asks Anand to choose between Bujji or Janata Garage. Choosing her father's family, Anand and Bujji tearfully say goodbye, and she marries someone else. Raghav and Rhea leave Satyam's house, creating an uproar with Anand and the family due to his uncultured lifestyle. Anand reunites with Anu, who is revealed to be Chandrashekhar's daughter. Anu tells Anand that she is attracted to him and they fall in love with each other.

Soon after, Bose was found dead, with police believing he had committed suicide. When the police chief asks Chandrashekhar to close the bomb blast case, he seeks help from Janta Garage. Anand tracks down the goons responsible for the blast and in the process, he learns that Bose was killed by Raghav. Bose learns that Raghav and Mukesh had planned the blasts to weaken Janata Garage's government influence. Satyam decides that even though Raghav is his son, he cannot survive. Janta Garage finds out the whereabouts of Mukesh and Raghav and beats up his men to reach them.
