Summary:
Urvil, a successful event organizer, has a memorable one-night stand with a mysterious woman, Celina, during a business trip. Though they part ways, Urvil becomes increasingly obsessed with her. His relentless pursuit to find her and rekindle their fleeting connection slowly unravels his perfect married life and deeply disturbs Celina, who wishes to keep the encounter as just that – a one-night stand. The film explores the psychological aftermath and the differing perspectives on casual encounters.
Plot (Movie Story):
The film opens with Urvil Raisingh (Tanuj Virwani), a successful event management professional, in Phuket, Thailand, celebrating a successful event. During a night of revelry with his colleagues, he's dared to approach a beautiful stranger. This leads him to meet Celina (Sunny Leone), an enigmatic and captivating woman. After an evening of intense conversation and shared intimacy, they have a consensual one-night stand. The next morning, Urvil wakes up to find Celina gone, leaving no contact information. He returns to his seemingly perfect life in Pune with his loving and dutiful wife, Simran (Nyra Banerjee).
Life continues normally for Urvil until, by chance, he spots Celina in a mall in Pune. The sight immediately reawakens his intense memories of their night together, and he becomes consumed by an obsessive desire to find her and meet her again. This marks the beginning of his relentless quest to track her down, much to the concern of his colleague, David (Ninad Kamat), who advises him to move on.
Urvil's obsession grows, affecting his work and his relationship with Simran, who senses his increasing detachment and strange behavior. He eventually discovers Celina's true identity: she is Ambar, the wife of a wealthy and influential businessman, Adhiraj Kapoor (Khalid Siddiqui), and a devoted mother to their young son, Jahaan.
Urvil begins to stalk Ambar relentlessly, following her, calling her, and appearing in places she frequents. Ambar, who considered their encounter a fleeting, anonymous moment of pleasure with no strings attached, is deeply disturbed and frightened by his persistence. She repeatedly tells him to leave her alone and forget about their past, emphasizing that it was just a one-night stand. However, Urvil refuses to accept her boundaries, feeling a strong, almost delusional, connection to her.
His obsession escalates to the point where he intrudes upon Ambar's private life, causing her immense distress and embarrassment, even reaching her home. This behavior strains his own marriage to Simran, who eventually confronts him about his affair after witnessing his strange behavior and his emotional distance. In a moment of desperation and rage, he even rapes Simran, calling her "Celina," further highlighting his psychological unraveling and blurring of identities. This act profoundly shatters Simran, leading to a confrontation where she drives recklessly and forces Urvil to confess his infidelity. Their marriage crumbles.
Ambar, tired of the harassment and fearing for her family's reputation and safety, finally calls Urvil to meet her on the highway. She firmly tells him that he is solely responsible for the destruction of his own life and that she owes him nothing. When Urvil threatens to reveal their secret to Adhiraj, Ambar, with newfound strength, calmly states that she will tell her husband herself, accepting the consequences, rather than live under his threat.
The film ends with Ambar taking control of her narrative and telling her husband the truth, facing her life with honesty. Urvil is left alone, having lost his wife, his job (he quits his job, unable to cope), and his peace of mind due to his unhealthy obsession. The film highlights the stark contrast between their two approaches to a casual encounter and the devastating impact of one person's inability to respect boundaries and move on. Urvil is shown starting a new life, seemingly having learned from his mistakes, but the ending leaves a lingering sense of the damage caused by his actions.
