Summary:
In Yamaloka (the abode of Yama, the God of Death), the aging Yama and Chitragupta decide to send their grandsons, Yuva Yama Dharma Raju and Yuva Chitragupta, to Earth to bring the soul of Aishwarya, a virtuous young woman destined to die at 22. However, Yuva Yama falls in love with Aishwarya, and Yuva Chitragupta falls for a lady police officer. This celestial interference leads to comedic chaos as they try to save Aishwarya from her fate, challenging divine law with mortal love, while the original Yama watches their misadventures.
Detailed Plot (Movie Story):
The film begins with a prophecy about a baby girl named Aishwarya (Meera Jasmine), born into a wealthy family. Astrologers predict she will be an epitome of humanity, dedicated to serving the poor and needy. Her birth also brings immense prosperity to her family. However, a divine decree in Yamaloka (the realm of death) dictates that Aishwarya will only live for 22 years.
Meanwhile, in Yamaloka, the venerable Yamadharmaraja (Kaikala Satyanarayana) and his diligent scribe Chitragupta (Allu Ramalingaiah, via graphics and AVS as Vichitragupta) are feeling the burden of their eternal duties and wish to retire. To test their grandsons' capabilities, they decide to send Yuva Yama Dharma Raju (Srikanth) and Yuva Chitragupta (Venu Thottempudi) to Earth (Bhooloka) on a mission: to retrieve Aishwarya's soul, as her 22 years are complete.
The two celestial beings arrive on Earth, adapting to human forms. However, the mission takes an unexpected turn when Yuva Yama falls deeply in love with Aishwarya. Simultaneously, Yuva Chitragupta also finds love with a lady police officer named Vaijayanti (Reema Sen).
Instead of fulfilling their divine duty, the grandsons begin to actively protect Aishwarya from various dangers, trying to prevent her destined death. Yuva Yama constantly tries to save Aishwarya, while Yuva Chitragupta reminds him of their primary objective. A sacred 'rudraksha' bead also plays a significant role in protecting Aishwarya from Yama's attempts.
The film then portrays the comedic chaos that ensues from this clash between divine law and mortal love. Yama and Chitragupta in Yamaloka are amused and often frustrated by their grandsons' antics and their failure to follow orders. Lord Narada (Krishna Bhagawan), often depicted as a celestial sage, also gets involved, adding to the comedic element.
The narrative explores how the young Yama and Chitragupta try to outsmart fate and the rules of Yamaloka. They face challenges from human antagonists as well, as they try to keep Aishwarya safe.
