Plot:

The story of Pil’s Adventures is set in the bustling, colorful medieval city of Foggyburgh, where the gap between the wealthy nobility and the poor is vast. Pil is a young orphan girl who survives by her wits, stealing food from the castle and living in a secret hideout within the city walls. She is never alone, accompanied by her three mischievous and loyal weasels: Pardi, Gulli, and Lutin. Pil is fiercely independent and has no desire for the life of a typical princess, preferring the freedom of the streets. However, her life changes when she is chased into the castle by guards and, in a moment of desperation, puts on a discarded princess dress to blend in. This accidental disguise leads her into the path of Regent Tristain, a sinister and ambitious man who is currently acting as the guardian of the kingdom while the rightful heir, Prince Roland, prepares for his coronation.

Tristain has no intention of relinquishing power. He concocts a magical poison intended to eliminate Roland, but due to a comical error, the potion doesn't kill the prince—instead, it transforms him into a "chick-cat," a creature with the body of a cat and the head and wings of a chicken. Distraught and unable to lead, Roland is hidden away. Pil, still disguised as a princess, witnesses the transformation and realizes the danger the kingdom is in. To maintain her cover and potentially find a way to better her own life, she "claims" she can find a way to save the prince.
