The Tragedy in Raju Garu's Village
The scene opens with a chaotic struggle. A group of men, faces contorted in aggression, forcibly drag a cow and her calf away from a bewildered farmer. The calf, separated from its mother, cries out in distress as it tries to follow, its tiny legs struggling to keep pace with the rough handling. This act of cruelty sets the stage for a tragedy that will unfold across generations.
The scene shifts to Raju Garu's house, where an air of festive cheer hangs heavy. Relatives have gathered for the naming ceremony of his newborn son. Laughter and the clinking of glasses fill the air. However, this joyous occasion is abruptly shattered by the arrival of a group of villagers, their faces grim. They bring with them the distressed calf, their eyes filled with sorrow.
"Munuswamy's brothers have kidnapped the cow! They took her from the temple along with many others," one of the villagers informs Raju Garu, his voice trembling with anger.
Raju Garu, a man of strong principles and deep-rooted compassion, is enraged. He cannot tolerate such blatant injustice. He immediately gathers a group of villagers and sets off to confront Munuswamy's brothers. A fierce altercation ensues, with Raju Garu ultimately overpowering the men and rescuing the cows.
News of his brothers' humiliation reaches Munuswamy, a man consumed by greed and a thirst for power. Fueled by a burning desire for revenge, he and his three brothers, hardened criminals, descend upon Raju Garu's house. They burst into the midst of the ongoing celebration, their faces masked with fury. A brutal massacre follows, leaving the house bathed in blood. Every member of Raju Garu's family, except his wife, is brutally murdered.
Raju Garu's wife, grievously injured but driven by a mother's instinct, manages to escape with her infant son. She flees into the darkness, her strength waning with every step. Desperate, she stumbles upon the calf, the very one whose mother Raju Garu had saved. Seeing the calf as a divine sign, she wraps her child in a shawl and ties him securely to the animal.
The villains arrive on the scene, their eyes gleaming with triumph. They spot the calf running away, the infant clinging to its back. A frenzied chase ensues, but the injured calf, driven by an unknown force, manages to evade the pursuers. In a desperate bid to escape, the calf leaps over the edge of a cliff. The infant is thrown from its back, landing with a thud on a truck carrying soil. The villains, believing the child to be dead, are filled with a chilling sense of satisfaction. To erase all traces of their crime, they set fire to the cowshed, believing that even the animals could become witnesses against them.
The Circle of Justice
The narrator interjects, explaining that while Munuswamy may believe he has destroyed all evidence of his crimes, he has forgotten the ultimate witness: nature itself. The five elements – earth, water, fire, air, and space – permeate every corner of existence, eternally observing and recording all actions. Justice, the narrator emphasizes, will inevitably prevail.
The infant, miraculously unharmed, is carried to a soil mine where the truck dumps its load. A wandering Hindu saint, drawn by an inexplicable force, discovers the child. He takes the infant to the holy city of Kasi and leaves him at the doorstep of the Kashi Vishwanath Temple.
A childless couple, Siva Prasad and his wife, are at the temple, fervently praying for a child. They are overwhelmed to find the abandoned infant. The temple priest, recognizing a divine intervention, names the child Viswaagna – a name signifying the child's connection to the cosmos, to the very essence of nature.
Siva Prasad and his wife, deeply touched by their newfound blessing, emigrate to the United States, taking Viswaagna with them. Years later, they are celebrating the success of their multinational company. A reporter, eager to learn about the future of the empire, inquires about their son.
"Viswa," Siva Prasad replies with a gentle smile, "has no interest in business. His passion lies in creating worlds, not conquering them."
Viswa, a young man brimming with creativity, is a budding game developer. He and his friends are working tirelessly on a new video game, a groundbreaking concept that they believe will revolutionize the industry. They submit their game to a leading gaming company, only to be met with rejection. The executives, while acknowledging the game's technical brilliance, deem it "lacking in cultural depth."
Disheartened but undeterred, Viswa and his friend encounter Soundarya Lahari, a young Hindu spiritual preacher who has come to the United States to spread awareness about Indian mythology. Viswa, instantly captivated by her wisdom and grace, seeks her guidance in infusing their game with authentic cultural elements.
Soundarya, initially offended by their offer of monetary compensation for her expertise, explains that culture cannot be bought or sold. It is a sacred heritage, a precious gift to be cherished and shared. However, moved by the sincerity of their desire to learn, Soundarya agrees to help. She introduces them to Valmiki, her childhood friend, an IT professional with an encyclopedic knowledge of Indian mythology.
Valmiki, intrigued by the challenge, presents a unique concept for the game: a story of a young boy whose family is brutally murdered, and how the five elements of nature conspire to bring his tormentors to justice. Viswa, deeply moved by the concept's profound resonance with his own unknown past, is captivated. He hires Valmiki to help him develop the game.
Meanwhile, Soundarya returns to India to visit her ailing father, Tagore, a man who had courageously stood against Munuswamy and his brothers in court, paying a heavy price for his defiance. Viswa, his heart drawn to her, follows her to India, determined to immerse himself in the rich cultural tapestry of the land.
Munuswamy, learning of Soundarya's presence in India, orders her assassination. He believes that silencing her will eliminate a significant obstacle in his path to absolute power. However, Viswa, through a series of events, manages to save Soundarya's life from Veeraswamy, Munuswamy's eldest brother, utilizing his understanding of the elements – air and earth – to his advantage.
Shocked by the uncanny similarities between the game's plot and the events unfolding in his own life, Viswa begins to question the nature of reality. He travels to Kasi, the city of his birth, to pay his respects at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. There, he encounters Munuswamy's second brother, and through a series of unforeseen events, the second brother meets his demise, consumed by the element of fire.
Munuswamy, enraged by the mysterious deaths of his brothers, embarks on a relentless hunt for the person responsible. Meanwhile, Soundarya, deeply touched by Viswa's courage and compassion, reciprocates his feelings.
Back in the United States, Valmiki, driven by a deep sense of purpose, completes the game. He returns to India to visit his grandfather, a renowned Vedic astrologer. The astrologer, upon hearing the game's intricate plot, experiences a chilling realization. He recalls a time in his youth when he witnessed Munuswamy and his brothers mocking him and denying the existence of any higher power. He reveals to Valmiki that the game's narrative is not merely a work of fiction, but a reflection of the cosmic order, a divine retribution orchestrated by nature itself for the heinous crimes committed by Munuswamy and his brothers.
Viswa's business rival, Shakti, driven by greed and a desire for power, joins forces with Munuswamy. They conspire to seize control of Viswa's company, kidnapping him and his family. They demand that Viswa surrender his shares in the company.
Confronted with this grave threat, Viswa finds himself at the center of a life-or-death struggle. In a climactic confrontation, the elements – fire, water, earth, and air – unleashed by nature, turn against the villains, bringing about their downfall. The element of space, the ultimate observer, witnesses this cosmic reckoning, a testament to the enduring power of justice and the inescapable consequences of one's actions.
