Summary:

In a 19th-century England gripped by a zombie apocalypse, the spirited Elizabeth Bennet and her four sisters have been trained in martial arts and weaponry by their father to defend themselves and their estate. Plot:

The story opens in an alternate 19th-century England, where a mysterious plague has turned much of the population into flesh-eating zombies. The Bennet sisters, Elizabeth, Jane, Kitty, Lydia, and Mary, have been sent to China for extensive martial arts training by their father, making them formidable warriors. When the wealthy bachelor Mr. Bingley arrives in the neighborhood, accompanied by the arrogant Mr. Darcy and Bingley's snobbish sister, Caroline, the Bennets' mother is determined to marry off her daughters, even as zombie outbreaks regularly interrupt social gatherings.

Elizabeth and Darcy immediately develop a strong mutual disdain, fueled by his perceived snobbery and her fierce independence, though an undeniable attraction simmers beneath their combativeness. As the zombie threat escalates, they find themselves repeatedly fighting side-by-side. The deceitful Mr. Wickham attempts to woo Elizabeth, revealing a distorted past with Darcy and a plan involving an army of "civilized" zombies. Ultimately, Elizabeth discovers Wickham's true villainy, and she and Darcy must put aside their differences to expose him and defeat the growing zombie menace, culminating in a dramatic battle on a collapsing bridge and a realization of their profound love for each other.
