Pushpa 2: The Rule is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language action drama film directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings. Serving as the second installment in the Pushpa franchise, the film is a sequel to the 2021 blockbuster Pushpa: The Rise. Allu Arjun reprises his titular role as Pushpa Raj, alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, Dhananjaya, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, and Anasuya Bharadwaj.
The sequel was officially announced just days before the release of the first film in December 2021, initially under the title Pushpa 2. The full title, Pushpa 2: The Rule, was revealed in April 2023. Although 10% of the footage was shot simultaneously with the first film, Sukumar decided to rework the story, leading to principal photography commencing in October 2022.
The film features music by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Mirosław Kuba Brożek, and editing by Naveen Nooli. With a production budget of ₹400–500 crore, it ranks among the most expensive films ever made in Indian cinema.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to release globally on 5 December 2024 across various formats, including standard, 3D, IMAX, 4DX, D-Box, and ICE.
