Rough (2014)

Summary:

Chandhu, a fearless and hot-headed young man, falls in love with Nandini at first sight. However, Nandini is the beloved only sister of Siddharth, a powerful and overprotective industrialist who keeps her isolated from the outside world. Chandhu faces immense challenges in trying to win Nandini's heart and confront Siddharth's formidable opposition, leading to a series of violent confrontations as he tries to prove his love and unravel a deeper conspiracy.

Detailed Plot (Movie Story):

The film introduces Chandrasekhar, alias Chandhu (Aadi Saikumar), a brash, rough-and-tumble young man with a short temper but a good heart. He is fearless and gets into fights easily, especially if injustice is involved.

One day, Chandhu sees Nandini (Rakshita) and falls instantly in love with her. He begins to pursue her relentlessly. However, Nandini is the only and highly protected sister of Siddharth (Srihari), a powerful and wealthy industrialist. Siddharth is extremely possessive of Nandini, keeping her under tight security and away from any external influences, especially potential suitors. He runs his empire with an iron fist, and anyone who crosses him or tries to get close to Nandini faces severe consequences.

Chandhu's attempts to woo Nandini are met with fierce resistance from Siddharth and his army of bodyguards. Siddharth warns Chandhu to stay away from his sister, but Chandhu, true to his "rough" persona, refuses to back down. He sees Nandini as his soulmate and is determined to win her love, no matter the obstacles.

The film then portrays a series of confrontations between Chandhu and Siddharth's men. Chandhu battles them using his raw strength and street smarts. He continues to pursue Nandini, and she, initially wary, slowly begins to be impressed by his unwavering determination and his genuine love, eventually reciprocating his feelings.

A significant portion of the film delves into the rivalry between Siddharth and another powerful individual, Jagapathi (Aditya Menon), who is an enemy of Siddharth. This rivalry adds another layer of complexity to the plot.

The narrative also features S. K. Bhai (Ravi Shankar), a seemingly unassuming character who plays a pivotal role in the larger conspiracy that unfolds.

As Chandhu gets deeper into the conflict with Siddharth, he discovers that there isn't just Siddharth's overprotectiveness at play. There's a deeper, more sinister plot involving Jagapathi and S. K. Bhai who are trying to destroy Siddharth and get their hands on his properties. It is also revealed that Nandini is not Siddharth's biological sister, but rather his adopted sister or a relative for whom he has taken responsibility.

The climax involves Chandhu not only fighting to win Nandini's hand but also to save Siddharth from the clutches of his enemies, Jagapathi and S. K. Bhai, who seek to exploit the situation. Chandhu becomes the unexpected protector for Siddharth and Nandini. The film culminates in a massive action sequence where Chandhu defeats all the antagonists, proving his worth and loyalty.

Ultimately, Siddharth recognizes Chandhu's true character and the sincerity of his love for Nandini. He gives his blessing to their union, and the film ends on a happy note with the lovers united and the villains defeated.
