Plot:

The film opens by introducing Arjun Ramakrishnan (Vishal), a seemingly affluent and charismatic NRI businessman returning to Chennai. His immediate goal appears to be to find a suitable bride, and he quickly sets his sights on Divya (Tamannaah Bhatia), a beautiful and independent young woman. Arjun orchestrates a series of 'chance' encounters with Divya, charming her with his wit and seemingly genuine affection. As their romance blossoms, Arjun discovers that Divya is the sister of Devaraj (Jagapathi Babu), a powerful and influential politician with a spotless public image but a dark secret.
