Raja, son of a vegetable vendor, is a simple man. His girlfriends dump him because of his honesty. However, things take a turn when he meets his true love Priya, the daughter of a police commissioner.

Raja Harishchandra Prasad, the son of a humble vegetable vendor named Prakash, was plagued by a peculiar problem: his unwavering honesty. While a virtue in most aspects of life, it proved to be a consistent stumbling block in his romantic pursuits. His extreme candor, often bordering on bluntness, led to a string of breakups, leaving him perpetually single. Despite these setbacks, Raja remained optimistic, believing that true love was just around the corner. And then he met Priya.

Priya was everything Raja wasn't – sophisticated, witty, and seemingly charmed by his awkward sincerity. They fell in love quickly, their connection sparking with a shared sense of humor and a mutual appreciation for each other's quirks. For Raja, it felt like he had finally found "the one." However, unbeknownst to Raja, Priya harbored a secret, a connection that would soon turn his world upside down. He discovered that Priya was the daughter of Commissioner Dileep Kumar, a renowned police officer known for his sharp intellect and his success in solving a series of high-profile kidnappings years ago. This revelation, while surprising, didn't diminish Raja's feelings for Priya. He was smitten, and he believed that their love could overcome any obstacle.

Adding another layer of complexity to the situation was Mukundham, the son of Minister Govindharaju. Dileep, much to Raja's dismay, wanted Priya to marry Mukundham. He saw this alliance as a strategic move, a way to further his own ambitions and secure his family's future. Desperate to win Priya's hand, Raja confronted Dileep, hoping to convince him of their love. However, Dileep, a master manipulator, cleverly tricked Raja into a dangerous game. He tasked Raja with kidnapping a prominent figure in the city, promising that if he succeeded, he would reconsider his stance on Priya's marriage.

Raja, driven by his love for Priya and his belief in her reciprocation, agreed to the task. But instead of kidnapping a political figure, he took a bold and unexpected step: he kidnapped Priya herself. He believed that this drastic measure would force Dileep to see the depth of their connection. However, Priya's reaction was far from what he expected. She revealed the devastating truth: she had never loved him. Her affection was merely an act, a calculated performance designed to manipulate him into helping her escape to the United States for higher studies. Heartbroken and betrayed, Raja, despite his pain, couldn't bring himself to abandon her. He took her to a friend's house, ensuring her safety even after learning of her deception. Meanwhile, Dileep, unaware of Priya's whereabouts, frantically searched for his missing daughter.

As Priya spent time with Raja, away from her father's influence and Mukundham's unwanted attention, her feelings began to change. She witnessed Raja's genuine care for her, his unwavering loyalty, and his willingness to sacrifice his own happiness for her well-being. Slowly, she started to fall for him, realizing the depth of his love and the shallowness of her own previous ambitions. Raja, still reeling from the initial shock of her betrayal, maintained a distance, unsure of her true feelings. He contacted Dileep, demanding a ransom of ₹3 crore. This audacious move, while seemingly motivated by greed, was actually a carefully calculated plan. Nayeem Basha, an intelligent officer working under Dileep, noticed similarities between Priya's "kidnapping" and other recent abductions. He deduced that Raja was the mastermind behind it all, and that he had cleverly tricked Dileep. Priya, upon learning about the ransom, confronted Raja, questioning his motives. Just as she was beginning to understand his actions, Dileep arrived and arrested Raja, believing he had finally captured the kidnapper.

Dileep was pleased with himself, confident that he had solved the case. However, his satisfaction was short-lived. Mukundham was kidnapped, and a staggering ransom of ₹15 crore was demanded. Dileep, realizing he had been outsmarted, discovered that Raja was missing from the police station. Priya, suspicious of her father's involvement, learned from her mother that Prakash and Dileep were once close friends. Prakash had considered Karim, an honest and dedicated police officer, as part of his family. He had discovered that Govindharaju was the mastermind behind the kidnappings, and when he went to arrest him, Dileep revealed that he was the actual orchestrator of the crimes. In the ensuing confrontation, Govindharaju killed Karim. Enraged, Prakash shot Govindharaju, the bullet lodging in his throat, and was subsequently framed for the kidnapping and imprisoned.

Dileep, meanwhile, discovered that Nayeem and Raja were working together. Nayeem had taken the ₹15 crore ransom from Raju. Prakash, from prison, revealed to Dileep that Nayeem was Karim's son, seeking revenge for his father's death. Raja then sent a video to the media, in which Dileep confessed to being the kidnapper. Nayeem, in a final act of justice, retrieved ₹500 crore from Govindharaju's house and donated it to an orphanage. Dileep was arrested, and Govindharaju died from his gunshot wound. In the end, Priya and Raja reunited, their love story finally finding its happy ending after a series of dramatic twists and turns. The complex web of deceit, betrayal, and revenge was untangled, revealing the true culprits and bringing justice to the victims.
