Summary:

Plot:

Ben, a peaceful botanist and economist, and Chon, a former Navy SEAL and mercenary, run a highly profitable, high-quality cannabis operation in Laguna Beach, California. They share a loving relationship with Ophelia, or "O." Their comfortable existence is disrupted when the powerful Baja Cartel, headed by the formidable Elena Sánchez, sends her brutal enforcer, Lado, to propose a partnership. Ben and Chon refuse the offer, believing their independent operation is safer and morally superior. In retaliation, Lado kidnaps O, using her as leverage to force the duo into compliance.

With O's life hanging in the balance, Ben and Chon are forced to confront the cartel head-on. They devise a plan to rescue O and reclaim their lives, which involves stealing money from the cartel, making alliances with corrupt DEA agent Dennis Cain, and meticulously planning a series of double-crosses.
