Plot:

The story begins with the beautiful Queen Ravenna seizing control of the kingdom of Tabor, killing King Magnus and imprisoning his daughter, Snow White. Years later, Ravenna maintains her youth and power by draining the life force from young women. Her magic mirror informs her that Snow White has come of age and is destined to surpass her beauty, and that consuming Snow White's heart will grant her immortality. Snow White escapes her prison and flees into the Dark Forest, a place no one dares to enter.

Ravenna dispatches Eric, a huntsman, to track her down and bring back her heart. However, upon finding Snow White, Eric witnesses Ravenna's cruelty firsthand and, touched by Snow White's innocence, defies the Queen, helping Snow White escape further into the forest. He then begins training her to fight and survive. Snow White and Eric encounter a village of women who have disfigured themselves to avoid Ravenna's attention, and later a group of dwarves who initially plan to turn Snow White over for a reward but eventually join her cause after realizing her noble spirit. Snow White also encounters a magical white stag, symbolizing the spirit of the forest, which briefly revitalizes the land. As they journey towards Duke Hammond's castle, where Snow White's childhood friend William resides, they face Ravenna's forces. Snow White rallies an army, including William and the dwarves, and leads them in a rebellion against Ravenna. In a climactic battle, Snow White confronts Ravenna, ultimately defeating her and restoring peace to the kingdom, taking her rightful place as queen.
