Supreme Officer (Officer)
Summary:
Sivaji Rao, an honest IPS officer from Hyderabad, is assigned to Mumbai to investigate a corrupt and dangerous fellow police officer, Narayan Pasari, who is famous for eliminating the mafia but secretly engages in illegal activities. As Sivaji uncovers Pasari's dark secrets, a deadly cat-and-mouse game ensues, forcing Sivaji to protect his family from the vengeful and influential Pasari.
Plot (Movie Story):
The film introduces Sivaji Rao (Nagarjuna Akkineni), a principled and upright IPS officer based in Hyderabad. He is known for his integrity and dedication to upholding the law.
Sivaji is sent on a special assignment to Mumbai to investigate allegations against a highly decorated and seemingly effective police officer named Narayan Pasari (Anwar Khan / Feroz Abbasi). Pasari has gained a formidable reputation for successfully eliminating the Mumbai mafia, making the city a safer place. However, the department receives intelligence suggesting that Pasari himself might be involved in illegal activities, including contract killings disguised as encounters.
Sivaji, as the Special Investigation Team (SIT) officer, begins his meticulous probe into Pasari's conduct. He uncovers evidence that paints a disturbing picture of Pasari's dual life – a public hero who is privately a ruthless criminal operating with impunity. Sivaji gathers enough proof to successfully arrest Pasari.
However, Pasari, being a highly influential and cunning individual, uses his connections to manipulate the system. He manages to get out of jail and reinstated to his position. This time, he is even more dangerous and vengeful, furious at Sivaji for exposing him. Pasari sets his sights on retaliating against Sivaji, not just professionally, but personally.
The conflict escalates into a brutal and intense battle of wits and power between the two officers. Pasari, now acting as a full-blown crime lord under the guise of an officer, uses his resources and knowledge of police tactics to target Sivaji's life and his family. Sivaji finds himself in a desperate fight, not just to bring Pasari to justice, but also to protect his young daughter (Baby Kaavya) and other loved ones from Pasari's wrath.
The film showcases various action sequences and confrontations as Sivaji tries to outmaneuver Pasari, who is constantly one step ahead due to his insider knowledge and network. Sivaji, along with his team including his female colleague (Myra Sareen), works to gather further incriminating evidence against Pasari, who continues to commit crimes and eliminate threats.
The climax involves a final, intense showdown where Sivaji confronts Pasari. The battle is depicted as a raw and violent struggle, highlighting the personal stakes for Sivaji. The film concludes with Sivaji ultimately prevailing over Pasari, bringing an end to his reign of terror and re-establishing justice, though often at a significant personal cost.
