Summary:
Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon is called to the Louvre Museum after its curator, Jacques Saunière, is murdered. Langdon and French cryptologist Sophie Neveu uncover a series of cryptic clues left by Saunière, leading them on a thrilling chase through Paris and London to decipher a centuries-old religious mystery.
They soon discover a secret society, the Priory of Sion, and its connection to the Holy Grail, protected by ancient secrets that could shake the foundations of Christianity. Pursued by a zealous albino monk and a shadowy organization, Langdon and Neveu must piece together the puzzle before the truth is lost forever.

Plot:
The film opens with the murder of Louvre curator Jacques Saunière, who leaves behind a series of enigmatic symbols and a coded message for his granddaughter, cryptologist Sophie Neveu. Captain Bezu Fache of the French police suspects Robert Langdon, whose name was among Saunière's final messages, and brings him in for questioning.
Langdon and Neveu realize that Saunière was a grand master of the Priory of Sion, a secret society guarding the location of the Holy Grail. Following a trail of clues embedded in Leonardo da Vinci's art and historical landmarks, they uncover a massive conspiracy involving Opus Dei, a powerful Catholic organization, and an albino monk named Silas, who is ruthlessly hunting down the Priory's members to find the Grail himself. Their perilous journey ultimately reveals a shocking truth about the nature of the Holy Grail and its profound implications for religious history.
