Plot:

The film opens with Katniss struggling with the aftermath of the Quarter Quell, having been rescued by District 13 while Peeta was captured by the Capitol. President Coin, leader of District 13, and former Head Gamemaker Plutarch Heavensbee reveal their plan to use Katniss as the face of the rebellion. Initially resistant, Katniss agrees after seeing the devastation in District 12 and visiting a hospital in District 8 bombed by the Capitol, witnessing the true cost of Snow's cruelty.

Under the guidance of her team, including Gale, Finnick, and Effie, Katniss films a series of "propos" designed to galvanize the districts. These videos spark uprisings across Panem, leading to fierce counterattacks from the Capitol. A mission is planned to rescue Peeta and other captured victors from the Capitol, which is successfully executed. However, upon their return, it's revealed that Peeta has been "hijacked" by the Capitol, a form of psychological torture that has conditioned him to perceive Katniss as a threat, leading to a violent attack on her.
