THE INCREDIBLE HULK (2008)
Summary:
Hiding out in Brazil, Bruce Banner desperately seeks a cure for the gamma radiation that transformed him into the Hulk. He lives a solitary life, working in a bottling factory and trying to avoid stress that could trigger his monstrous alter-ego, all while evading the relentless pursuit of General Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross and the military forces determined to weaponize or destroy him.
When an accidental exposure reveals his location, Bruce is forced to confront his past and the forces hunting him, leading to a confrontation with a new, equally powerful adversary, Emil Blonsky, who becomes the monstrous Abomination. The film explores themes of control, identity, and the destructive nature of power, as Bruce grapples with the beast within.

Plot:
Five years after a failed experiment turned him into a giant green rage monster, Bruce Banner is living in hiding in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, working at a bottling plant and secretly collaborating online with a scientist known only as "Mr. Blue" to find a cure for his condition. He practices meditation and uses a heart rate monitor to keep his pulse low, avoiding any emotional triggers that could unleash the Hulk. However, when a drop of his blood contaminates a soft drink bottle, it leads to its discovery in Milwaukee, alerting General Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross, who immediately dispatches a special forces team, led by the ruthless Emil Blonsky, to apprehend him.
Bruce is forced to transform into the Hulk during the ensuing chase and narrowly escapes. He then travels to Virginia to retrieve crucial data from his old lab and reconnects with his former colleague and love interest, Betty Ross, General Ross's daughter. Blonsky, fascinated by the Hulk's power, volunteers for a Super-Soldier serum experiment that grants him enhanced strength but also begins to deform him. The military's pursuit intensifies, leading to a climactic battle in Harlem where Blonsky, now transformed into the monstrous Abomination after receiving a second, more potent dose of gamma radiation, wreaks havoc. Bruce must embrace the Hulk to defeat the Abomination and save Betty and the city, ultimately choosing to live with the Hulk as a part of himself, rather than trying to cure him entirely.
