Plot:
Ben Whittaker, a retired executive and widower, finds that his active retirement life still leaves him feeling unfulfilled. When he sees an advertisement for a "senior intern" program at About The Fit, a successful e-commerce fashion startup, he applies and is accepted. Despite some initial skepticism from the younger staff, Ben's calm demeanor, punctuality, and old-school charm quickly make him a beloved figure in the office.
He is assigned directly to Jules Ostin, the company's founder and CEO, who is initially hesitant about having a senior intern, especially one assigned directly to her. However, Ben's quiet observation and genuine helpfulness soon make him indispensable. He offers subtle advice, helps Jules manage her chaotic schedule, and provides a much-needed steady presence amidst the fast-paced, often stressful environment. As Jules faces mounting pressure from investors to hire a more experienced CEO and struggles with marital issues at home, Ben becomes her most trusted confidant, demonstrating that experience and wisdom are invaluable assets in any era.
