Summary:

Plot:

Billy McMahon and Nick Campbell are successful watch salesmen whose company abruptly closes, leaving them jobless and without a clear path forward. Billy, ever the optimist, discovers a Google internship program and, despite their complete lack of relevant tech experience, manages to get them both accepted into the summer program. They arrive at the Googleplex, a sprawling campus filled with brilliant young minds, and immediately feel out of place due to their age and technological illiteracy.

They are assigned to a team of fellow overlooked interns: Stuart, who is constantly on his phone; Yo-Yo, a homeschooled boy with an overbearing mother; Neha, a shy girl who works as an exotic dancer online; and Lyle, their enthusiastic but equally unconfident team leader. The program involves a series of challenges, or "Noogler" tasks, where teams compete to solve problems, develop apps, and demonstrate teamwork, all while being evaluated by the arrogant and competitive intern Graham.

Initially, Billy and Nick's team struggles, often failing due to their inability to grasp the technical aspects of the challenges. However, Billy and Nick begin to use their natural salesmanship, communication skills, and life experience to their advantage, inspiring their younger teammates to come out of their shells and think outside the box. Nick also develops a romantic interest in Google executive Dana. Despite their unconventional methods and a few comical missteps, their team starts to gain momentum, proving that different perspectives can lead to innovative solutions. In the final challenge, they must present a marketable app idea. Their unique blend of old-school charm and newfound tech understanding ultimately helps them secure full-time positions at Google, demonstrating that adaptability, teamwork, and a willingness to learn can triumph over initial disadvantages.
