Summary:

The Loft is a complex psychological thriller that follows five married friends—Vincent, Luke, Chris, Marty, and Phillip—who, as a group, secretly share a luxurious penthouse loft for their illicit affairs. Their carefully crafted secret is shattered when they discover the body of an unknown woman, bloodied and handcuffed to a bed, inside the loft. Detailed Plot (Movie Story):

The film introduces five long-time friends who have all found success in their lives, but their marriages are crumbling. Vincent Stevens (Karl Urban), a successful architect, is the one who initiates the idea. He proposes that the five of them buy a luxurious penthouse loft in the city, where they can bring their mistresses and have their affairs in secret. The five friends are Luke Seacord (Wentworth Miller), a neurotic and introverted man; Chris Vanowen (James Marsden), a kind and gentle husband; Marty Landry (Eric Stonestreet), a loud and vulgar man; and Phillip Trauner (Matthias Schoenaerts), a cynical and cold-hearted man.

Their perfect secret is shattered when they enter the loft and discover the lifeless body of a woman. She is bloodied, and she is handcuffed to the bed. The friends, who are now panicking, realize that one of them is a murderer. They all have a key to the loft, and no one else could have entered.

The film's plot then becomes a tense and suspenseful whodunit. The friends, now trapped in the loft, are forced to interrogate each other. They try to figure out who the woman is, and who killed her. As they question each other, a series of flashbacks are shown, each revealing the secrets and lies of the five men.
