Summary:
Hari, a young DJ constantly facing rejection in love, finally meets Sailaja, a girl he genuinely falls for. However, after a period of friendship and budding romance, she delivers a puzzling "I love you, but I'm not in love with you." Confused but determined, Hari embarks on a mission to win her heart fully, only to discover a complex family dynamic and a past connection that complicate their relationship, pushing him to win over not just Sailaja but also her estranged family.
Detailed Plot (Movie Story):
The film introduces Hari (Ram Pothineni), a young and energetic DJ who has faced numerous rejections from girls he has proposed to since childhood. Despite these setbacks, he remains optimistic about finding true love. He shares a close bond with his family, including his parents and twin sister, Swecha (Sreemukhi).
One day, Hari encounters Sailaja (Keerthy Suresh). He is instantly smitten but, having learned from past rejections, decides to befriend her first rather than directly proposing. They develop a close friendship, spending a lot of time together, and Hari gradually falls deeply in love with her. Sailaja also seems to grow fond of him.
During an advertising shoot in Goa, a flashback reveals that Sailaja was actually Hari's childhood crush, though neither of them realizes this connection at this point. Sailaja expresses her comfort and happiness with Hari, unknowingly echoing her feelings for her childhood friend (who was Hari).
After they return to Hyderabad, Hari decides it's time to confess his feelings. He takes Sailaja to his home to introduce her to his family. It is here, while looking at Hari's childhood photos, that Sailaja recognizes him as the boy who made her happy during her childhood. She begins to realize their past connection and a deeper bond.
Just as Hari is about to express his love, Sailaja receives a call from her mother, asking her to return to their village. Hari loses contact with her for a few weeks. When they finally meet again, Hari confesses his love. To his utter confusion, Sailaja responds with the perplexing line: "Hari, I love you, but I am not in love with you." This leaves Hari heartbroken and determined to understand what she means and win her over completely.
An upset Hari tries to move on, even joining a meditation center. However, destiny intervenes when he discovers that his sister, Swecha, is in a relationship with Ashok (Prince Cecil), who turns out to be Sailaja's elder brother. This unexpected connection provides Hari with an opportunity to re-enter Sailaja's life and understand her complex family situation.
Hari accompanies Ashok to Sailaja's village, pretending to be Ashok's friend. He quickly becomes popular with Sailaja's family, including her father, Srinivasa Rao (Sathyaraj), her mother (Rohini), and her grandfather (Vijayakumar). He discovers that there's a strained relationship within Sailaja's family, particularly between her father, Srinivasa Rao, and his own father (Sailaja's grandfather), due to a misunderstanding that occurred around the time of Sailaja's birth.
Hari, with his cleverness and caring nature, begins to subtly mend the family relationships. He helps Sailaja understand her father better, realizing Srinivasa Rao's deep love and sacrifices for her, which were previously misunderstood. He also helps reunite the grandfather and his son, bringing harmony back to the family.
The film has a minor antagonist in Maharishi (Pradeep Rawat), a local goon who has issues with Sailaja's family, particularly regarding land disputes, and also tries to marry off a girl whom Sailaja's friend Keerthi loves. Hari cleverly outsmarts Maharishi to help Keerthi. Maharishi later tries to disrupt Sailaja's life.
The climax involves Maharishi kidnapping Sailaja. Srinivasa Rao, now trusting Hari, asks him to rescue his daughter. Hari, having earned the family's respect and love, successfully saves Sailaja and defeats Maharishi.
Ultimately, Sailaja fully realizes her love for Hari and acknowledges that he truly is the man for her. The film concludes with their marriage, uniting the families and showing Hari finally finding the true love he always sought.
