Plot:

Seven years after a catastrophic global famine, a nameless survivalist lives a solitary, paranoid existence in a hidden, fortified cabin in the woods. He cultivates a small, secret garden and meticulously conserves his few remaining resources, constantly on guard against intruders. His routine is shattered by the arrival of Kathryn, an older woman, and her young daughter, Mila, who are desperate for food. Initially, the survivalist attempts to drive them away, but after a violent confrontation, a reluctant truce is formed.

Kathryn offers Mila to the survivalist in exchange for food and shelter. A tense and uneasy cohabitation begins, marked by suspicion and the constant struggle for power and control. As they work together to maintain the farm and protect their food supply, a fragile sense of community begins to form amidst the constant threat of starvation and external dangers. However, the harsh realities of their world and the moral compromises made for survival eventually lead to betrayals and further violence, forcing each character to confront the true cost of their humanity.
