The imprinting, a fundamental law within werewolf society, prevents Jacob from harming Renesmee. This act inadvertently protects Renesmee from the wrath of the pack, ensuring her safety.
Miraculously, over the next two days, Bella begins to show signs of life. Her injuries heal at an astonishing rate, her body transforming as the vampire venom takes effect. Finally, her eyes open, revealing a blood-red hue, confirming her transformation into a vampire.
The film concludes with a post-credits scene that hints at future conflicts. Carlisle Cullen sends a letter to the Volturi, the powerful coven of vampires who enforce vampire law, informing them of Bella's transformation. The Volturi, led by the enigmatic Aro, acknowledge the letter but express concerns about the growing Cullen coven and the existence of Renesmee, a child born from a human and a vampire. Aro ominously remarks that the Cullens still possess something he desires, foreshadowing future confrontations and potential threats to their newfound peace.
