TOY STORY 3 (2010)

Summary:

Andy is all grown up and preparing to leave for college, forcing his beloved toys, including Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie, to confront an uncertain future. Facing the prospect of being relegated to the attic or even thrown away, the toys accidentally find themselves in a donation box bound for Sunnyside Daycare.

Initially thrilled by the idea of being played with again, they soon discover that Sunnyside is not the paradise it seems, but rather a toy prison ruled by a seemingly benevolent but secretly tyrannical teddy bear named Lotso. Woody must lead his friends in a daring escape to return to Andy before he leaves for college.

Plot:

Seventeen-year-old Andy Davis is preparing to leave for college, and his toys, led by Woody, Buzz Lightyear, and Jessie, haven't been played with in years. As Andy packs, his mother insists he sort his old belongings: trash, attic, or donation. The toys, fearing the worst, are mistakenly placed in a trash bag, but Woody rescues them, trying to convince them Andy still cares. In a misunderstanding, the toys (except Woody) are accidentally put out with the trash. Believing Andy intentionally threw them away, they stow away in a donation box destined for Sunnyside Daycare.

At Sunnyside, the toys are welcomed by Lotso Huggin' Bear, who promises a haven where they will be loved and played with by new children. However, they are assigned to the Caterpillar Room, where destructive toddlers abuse them. Buzz is captured and reset to "demo mode" by Lotso's henchmen, becoming a loyal enforcer. Meanwhile, Woody, who had tried to explain the mistake to his friends, eventually ends up at the home of a sweet little girl named Bonnie, whose toys reveal Lotso's true, bitter nature: he was abandoned by his original owner and turned Sunnyside into a toy prison.

Woody returns to Sunnyside to rescue his friends, who are imprisoned and subjected to the Caterpillar Room's chaos. After a meticulously planned and daring escape through the daycare, the toys find themselves trapped in a garbage truck heading to a landfill. They endure a terrifying ordeal in an incinerator, narrowly escaping thanks to the quick thinking of the Aliens. Eventually, they are returned to Andy's house. Recognizing the deep sentimental value of his toys, Andy decides to donate them to Bonnie, ensuring they will be played with and cherished once more. Woody, after a heartfelt goodbye, joins his friends at Bonnie's house, where they begin a new, joyful chapter.
