Plot:

Plum, a driven and solitary long-distance runner, is deep in training for the Olympic trials, with her entire life meticulously organized around her athletic pursuits. Her existence is a strict regimen of running, eating, and sleeping, leaving no room for social interactions or personal exploration. When she contracts a stomach bug, her coach insists she take a mandatory day off, a concept entirely foreign to her.

Disoriented by the sudden disruption to her routine, Plum wanders through her hometown, a hub for track and field athletes. She encounters Fred, a laid-back boy who works at a local bakery, and their casual interactions slowly begin to chip away at her carefully constructed shell. As Plum experiences a taste of life outside of her running bubble, she starts to question the sacrifices she's made and whether her identity is solely defined by her sport, leading her on an unexpected journey of self-discovery.
