Plot:

The story begins with Igor Strausman, a brilliant but abused hunchbacked assistant at a London circus, whose medical knowledge is discovered by medical student Victor Frankenstein. After a harrowing rescue, Victor corrects Igor's spinal deformity, renames him, and brings him into his secret laboratory. Together, they embark on groundbreaking experiments to reanimate dead tissue, starting with animal parts and eventually a full chimpanzee-like creature named "Prometheus," which proves violent and unstable.

Their work attracts the attention of Inspector Roderick Turpin, a devout Christian detective who suspects Victor of unholy acts. As Victor becomes increasingly obsessed with creating human life, Igor grapples with the ethical implications and Victor's escalating recklessness. Funded by the wealthy Finnegan, Victor and Igor move to a remote Scottish estate to construct their ultimate creation. The climax sees them bring to life a monstrous human creature, which quickly turns violent and uncontrollable, leading to a confrontation with Turpin and a desperate struggle for survival. Igor must decide whether to continue aiding Victor's dangerous ambition or to stop him before his creation destroys them all.
